“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” – Rabindranath Tagore
Hello and welcome! There are times in our lives when the direction along our path seems unclear. Amidst the clouds, wind, and rain, we aren't quite sure of our direction or destination. It is in these moments of life that we may turn to a person of support to help guide the way. As a member of your support system, I hope to join alongside you as we work to weather the storm together.
Services
Individual, Couple, Family Therapy
I primarily work with individuals (aged 16+), couples, and families (with children aged 12+) who are navigating family conflict, relationship concerns, communication issues, and adjustment to life-cycle transitions. I also work with such presentations as coping with career burnout, depression, anxiety, grief, and ADHD. Having lived courageously with type 1 diabetes for 30+ years, I have a sincere interest in supporting individuals and their families navigating the psycho-social impacts of chronic illness on emotional and relational well-being.
Approach
Humanistic, Relational, Systemic
I strive to create a safe therapeutic space where my clients will feel seen, heard, and understood. Together, we will connect at a fundamentally human level, where empathy and compassion meet the human experience. We will then work to understand your concerns by broadening the perspective toward a systemic lens. This means I will lean in with curiosity toward the familial, social, and cultural narratives that influence the relational sense of self. We will work to bring awareness to the interaction dynamics that inform your current challenges, while also identifying your inner sources of resiliency to foster relational growth.

About
"The body says what words cannot." - Martha Graham
It is an honour to accompany my clients through the challenges of life. When I am not practicing psychotherapy, I enjoy turning to sources of creativity in which I can self-express through movement, such as in dance, yoga, and Pilates. These practices allow me to turn toward my own sources of resiliency within the challenges of life.

Land Acknowledgement
I respectfully acknowledge that I live and work as a guest on the unceded and traditional territory of the Akwesasne Mohawk and their ancestors, who have maintained a deep and enduring relationship with this land since time immemorial.
I recognize the ongoing impacts of colonization and the responsibility to engage in continual reflection, learning, and accountability within both my personal life and professional practice. I offer this acknowledgement with respect toward the traditions, teachings, language, and culture of the Akwesasne Mohawk.
I strive to approach my psychotherapy practice from a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive framework that recognizes the importance of safety and respect toward the diverse lived experiences of those I support.
